Morning
My engine seems to have decided to start running a bit rough. On gently acceleration it feels a bit stuttery. If you mash the pedal at low revs it seems to hesitate & then explode into life (often with a bang or two from the exhausts). At higher revs it doesn't seem so bad but still feels a bit off.
Anyone had something like this or an idea of what might be up? Any things to check before I think about taking it to a doctor? I had new Magnecor leads only about 3k miles ago.
Cheers

Big t, see thread www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?h=0&f=6&t=348914 shows positioning of coil packs, still haven't replaced my oil sensor either.

Thanks man. I'll see what I can see.
I guess other things are the big fuse & HT leads. Do you have to take the airboxes off to get to the spark plugs??

Firstly check that your leads are seated correctly on the plugs.
Then check condition of the leads, if they are new they should be ok, but they may have become trapped when fitted.
Next port of call will be coil packs as has already been stated.
Finally it could be a dodgy throttle pot.

Jules.
