Yes most of us did at some point. Luckily we had a couple of sets of trackday silencers to share round when the marshalls were most strict. Other option was to wait for someone to go out as a sacrificial lamb, then pile in behind them, waiting for said lamb to get a pull and sneak out while the marshalls were busy sound checking
