Hi fellow cebera owners, as you can see from my profile i'm new here. Just got my first cerb after 12mts saving and all is going well. She was a cat C write off due to an electrical fire but nearly all the work has been done buy the previous owner.
Anyway i have fixed nearly all the problems but I still have to connect up the cold air vents. This is where I could do with some help.I see there is a passenger eyeball vent on the end of the dash and there is the drivers face vent but I am not sure where to connect them to. I have the tri manifold but not sure where the large pipe goes and where the other small pipe goes.
Currently I have a large bore pipe going from the wing side of the footwell to the centre (same as the passenger side) Is this correct?
Any help/advice would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
Phil

ok, can you take in your drivers footwell and see where the face vent manifold (big black fiberglass unit with 3 small pipes and 1 large pipe) connects to. Obviously 1 small pipe goes to the passenger eyeball vent, another to the drivers eyeball vent, but I am at a loss where the other small pipe goes to and where the large pipe connects to the car. As I mentioned earlier my car has had an electrical fire and been repaired by previous owners, so i'm left with just the finishing bits to do. Though not seeing a car in 'factory' condition i'm not sure of the layout.
Thanks

Any other owners nearby? It always helps to have another to compare.

Where abouts in the Midlands are you, I am sure someone would be able to meet up and compare cars.

Don't know if it helps but there are two vents in the driver's footwell, the one nearest the pedals should blow hot air, the other one cold air. The face vent is cold air of course.

OK Sorry for the delay. Looking up left to right (door to centre console) its drivers feet, passenger, drivers face. The large pipe takes a sharp 90 degree turn into the wheel arch. Let me know if you need any further info.
