Headlight Pods

Hello all

Before I start trying to pull them off (the headlight pods), can they be removed and if so what's the best way?

4.5, 1998, single large lens, non blended.

They are fiddly. I dropped a wing nut and whn I fished it out with a magnet I found two others down there ! You have to be careful with the bolts when you refit so as to not scrape the bodywork.
