Do you really have to drill all them rivets out to get to the prp shaft?? The exhaust is off but how do i get the prop off?

No, there are self tappers in the heat shielding, from memory they are 10" or so apart all the way round. I assume you're talking about the heat shield?

That is of course, if someone hasn't replaced them with rivets.

Mine was rivetted on, not really that bad to drill them out and replace, although admittedly more fiddly than self tapers!

Mine was riveted, but I replaced them with self tappers.

use a slightly bigger drill to take them out or there is a proper drill bit to remove rivets

Mine was riveted on-10 rivets,its only a 10 minute job to drill them out,dont think you will get at prop any other way.While your at it dont forget to grease both UJ,s,there is a grease nipple on each one.Its about a 20 minute job to rivet shield back on.

I was..... Then i sold the engine.....

Somthing will be happening to the engine over the next week or so yes....

I will be cutting myself trying to remove this 4.2
