Up tomorrow at the crack of dawn and taking the Cerb over to Brands Hatch tomorrow for my first proper track day, really looking forward to it!
have fun..Brands was my first track day in the cerb..its a great track, watch out for paddock bend at the end of the straight, but get it right and its excellent fun, definately worth getting the instructor after a few laps.
let us know how you get on, there are a few TVR owners going at the end of May too.
Did my novice trackday at Brands Hatch today, absolutely fantastic day in all!
Car was checked my marshals and passed at 104db, just scraped in with cats and sports exhausts. I would say I was very impressed with how the car behaved overall. The Gaz shock were the biggest revelation, on the road the car is a bit lively on country B roads but when you throw her though Paddock Hill hard as you like, she just fly's through there like a bird, no bottoming out or unexpected movements the car seemed very chuckable, I would say the cars envelope as a track day tool is a long way beyond the limit of my driving skills/size of my balls!
Brakes were surprisingly good considering they are the standard AP Racing callipers she left the factory with, suppose being quite a light car you can brake quite late into most corners as the confidence grows. She sounded fantastic hammering down the pit straight as fast as you can before Paddock. I would go as far as to say its only on the track that you start to realise what a capable bargain piece of kit the Cerb really is!
Some of the other novices cars!
What the helmet holder's for!

I think I have some drive by video footage of you, will give you a shout when I have edited it.

Cool, yeah give me a shout. My mate took more of the sky than he did of the car. I've heard it....and seen it...but never together!!
You have a helmet holder - ooohh. I have one too; his name is Adrian (that came out wrong)
