Anyone know a part number or what car the universal joints on the steering column come off of? Thanks in advance.

Are they stiff or worn?

If they are only stiff you can get them good and free by jacking up the front end and spraying them with loads of WD-40.

A bit too much play in the steering, can see a bit of slack in the joints so hopefully that is all that it is.

From all my enquiries the UJ's are TVR specific. I find that hard to believe - I have ordered new ones from TVR parts but will ask my 'know it all' mechanic to check them to see if he can recognise what they come off.

Be careful when you fit them as, if you turn the steering wheel too far when the joints are out of the column, I believe you can snap the ribbon lead to the steering wheel buttons.
