Cant get gears!!!
Well not unless i ram it in gear. when the cars not running it selects fine!!

Only had the car a week and its always been stiff in out of gears.

No clutch fluid on the floor!!
Looks like its the pressure plate?

Hopefull gonna get the gearbox out tonight and th problem will jump out and bite me!
Any input on this proble wouls be great!!

Unlucky Gavin, I think you'd better take the gearbox out and have a look.

Very rare for a cerb clutch to go so you might not get too many people replying or offering any advice through experience.

before taking the gearbox off try bleeding the clutch system

you could have air in it or it could be low on fluid

Have tried bleeding the clutch system and no change! Clutch has got worse form saturday lunch to evening time!

Then monday morning it wouldnt go in gear at all!

gonna have a look at master cylinder. cheers

Sounds like the fingers - exactly the same happened to me a few weeks ago. Mine would go into gear with the engine off but not whilst it was running.

Check around the brake pedal in the footwell for fluid before you drop the box - this is indicative of master cylinder failure. Otherwise if no fluid leak from the bellhousing then it does look like the fingers on the diaphragm.
