THROTTLE RETURN SPRING

Anyone know where to get a new throttle return spring from, or the part number, or vehicle that it might be from. Mine is looking/feeling decidely limp wristed.

The throttle return spring is E3541 and I tried to get one as a spare from TVR power but they say they've not seen any for years!!!

So what happens if one snaps/breaks/distorts?

They must be from another vehicle surely, I can't see TVR stooping to making springs, after all they sourced in most parts from other manufacturers.
