Well I have just sold the Cerb. Sob !
It was quite an eventful morning. The chap from Cornwall was beaten to the post by the guy from Scotland who flew down (Scottish chap arrivd 10 mins before him). Sorry to the Cornish man and thanks to the Scottish fella. His name is Derek and I am sure he will start posting round here soon.
I just got to get the car MOTd, the money needs to be cleared and away Derek goes with my pride and joy.
I am sure I will still hang out round these parts and knowing me I will buy another before long !
It has been a pleasure and an honour to own 2 cerbs and I can already feel the pain of seeing others on the road and not owning one. Not sure how I will get the fix without one - maybe I will just have to do some more extreme mountain biking.
It has been fun and informative hanging out on this forum, thanks guys.
Hopefully the £3K pa myth will now die off quietly.
Missing you already.

Beaten by a Scot! mad
Second car I have missed this past month furious
Spent years waiting for the chance curse
Jerked off by a text message at a service station, after driving 300 miles censored
Miss the TVR meet in Cornwall grumpy

Now going to climb the Lloyds TSB building in town snipering out random inocent victims
while I scream " I dont give a F censored k anymore!"

By the way......I still have the cash if anyone has the right car thumbup

nono No hard feeling. Glad you sold it. banghead

Cheerio Gaz, don't be a stranger.... been without my Cerb for nearly 2 years now, yet I'm still allowed to lurk under sufferance! Best of luck old chap, and that you for all your contributions.

I sold it for the asking price which was roughly about what most are asking for a good 99 4.5....with the engine work and the provenance then I think the car is a good deal.

I thought about a leaving speech but I have seen no sign of a leaving present, not even a gold watch.
The person I would like to thank though is Andy at APM. His work, skill, knowledge and prices make owning a TVR much more straightforward.

Us Scot's are persistant buggers ....jumped in the car just before 6am to drive the 500 miles to Gary's to see the car....car doesn't start....probably because it knew it was getting replaced.....Jumped in a cab to Edinburgh Airport...flew down...hired a car and finally made it before 12 sometime.

Amazing car and well looked after by Gary.... i'm delighted and can't wait for years of financial pain and happy motoring in her.

Thanks to Gary and good luck with your hunt for another Cerb Cornwall lad....
