Always thought this stuff was guff, but gave it a bash and didn't need to use the wiper driving up through france last weekend....(and yes it was raining).

always useful just in case the wipers fail to proceed...

I've found it great on the Cerb at 60mph or above, but not great below that.

The shape of the Cerb seems to make it easier for it to do it's job whereas on other vehicles it's not always as effective.

Are you doing the 2 coat process as it works on mine at about 30. I've used it on my past 3 cars and you do get different results on certain cars which I think is more down to the glass rather than the shape. It used to last 6 months on the chimaera but only about 3 on the cerb windscreen (longer on the side windows and the back).

The anti fog stuff is supposed to be good but never needed it so haven't tried it myself

It's totally invisible/unnoticeable until it rains - then you go "Wow , this stuff is brilliant!"

the opposite actually as its basically non-stick so road film doesn't stick - one flick of the wash wipe and you get a really clean screen again.

Halfords.

New RainX 2 is out. I think it is the same but the bottle has a bigger nozzle so you use more and it works better.

£3.99 for 200ml bottle - Halfrauds.
I find it brill 'cos my wipers are lazy on first speed but if I use Rainex their fine.

Rain-x also do another product called Anti Fog. This is applied to the inside of the windows and it stops all misting up. Particularly useful in colder, wetter weather we all know so well over the last week or so.
