Help. Have had long term ongoing problems with water causing ECU faults. Eventually traced it to the connector under the expansion tank, and moved the whole thing into the car and sealed it off. At least I thought. Lots of rain last few days and there is water in the connector again! ARGH!

Has anyone else had this? Is the water getting into the wiring loom somwhere else and running along to the connector? Anyone had any joy solving this annoying prob??

TIA, Joe

It could be 'wicking' from another area of the loom. Perhaps buying some loom take and redoing a few areas.

We had this with a Boeing 737 and the engine ECU, took bloody ages to find!
