Balls. Getting a lambda fault on even bank, only replaced the damn thing a few weeks ago! Looking at the connector wiring loom side, the red wire is partly exposed. Would this cause the lambda to read incorrectly? Can this connector be replaced?? HELP!

What fault is it showing - I mean, is it stuck on a reading aswell as showing on the fault page?

I take it from the picture its a 4.2?

What's the yellow label say?

Started of with the constant 1.8v problem, and logging a fault. Now is showing more sensible values, but not flicking around as it should, just sitting at 1.3v or 0.5v, and adaptives way out and still logging fault. It is a 4.2, and the yellow label says even.

I had this the other day. It resulted in me getting under the bonnet with the hair dryer and drying all the connections and the surrounding wires etc. Took her out for a nice long spin and the engine was baking hot and everything was working normally. It was damp/wet connections that cocked everything up (1.87v, MIL light, adaptives miles out etc).Ordered some latex off the internet and am going to coat each connector in it to waterproof it. It peels off easy when maintenance is required.

Your wire looks a bit dodgy and if it was mine I'd make sure none of the actual wire was damaged dry the whole thing with a hairdryer and then seal it with silicon/electrical tape and see what you get.

Thanks Marcus, this is pretty much what I had concluded. Car lives outside, and recently had lots of rain. The wiring is a pain to get to though, as I am sure you know. Time to start house hunting for a house with a garage!
