rubber air intake hoses
Discussion
Hi Marcus
I purchased a full set of intake hoses from TVR Power in Coventry in March. At the time Dom said he'd got plenty of them in stock. Drop him a line, he's very helpfull and will probably sort you out. Mine were brown at the engine end enough to spoil the under bonnet view, the rearmost one also had a small hole.
Quite why your n/s hoses are longer than your o/s ones I don't know. I was lead to believe that intake length from trumpet to inlet valve is very important and should be equal across all 8 cylinders. Have the o/s ones been cut down because the ends have split at some point?
TVR Power is on 02476 366177 or dom@tvrpower.co.uk
All fixed now though.
Regards
Simon.

Sorry, I meant the black ones on the right of your picture.
Wish my engine bay looked like this.

Anyone know where to get these from?
Mine have seen better days and I would like to buy some new ones.
Internal diammeter 90mm.
However, the length differs from side to side. The n/s is longer than the o/s.
All info appreciated.

Not sure where you'd get the originals from, but I think ali heat ducting (B&Q etc.) comes in this size for that 'robbie the robot' look. Mine have seen better days and I would like to buy some new ones.

Anyway, back to the original question.
Somewhere must sell them ready made and ready to go?

ACT were talking about making a direct replacement for them, if you didn’t want to go for the short pipe/ remap route (if you are look on the TCS web site). Give Tim a ring see if he has finished them, he was having trouble getting the tooling right for the differing end sizes. Somewhere must sell them ready made and ready to go?
