just had the air con regassed no leaks,the air comming out of the vents is cold,not as cold as on my other car which is a modern car is this normal?are there any other temp controls hidden anywhere?thanks.

The thermostat is above your right knee when sitting in the drivers seat.

Clockwise = colder

thanks,just had a look i cant see anything obvious, but then not sure what im looking for?is that the normal position?

The Thermostat isn't meant to be adjusted, so it is hidden. It's located on the right side of the drivers footwell, about knee height, in front of the drivers door, you may have to lift the carpet.
With the Air Con on the air should be cold, but don't expect it to be as efficient as a modern car's air con.

ps pulled trim down from under steering column stii cant find it

just to make sure i am pushing the right buttons, the lower fan switch works the fan thats ok when i push the lower black button the blue light comes on,and there is a mettalic click from under the bonnet, when i push the same button again ther is a clunk from under the bonnet thanks.

thanks i will leave it at that then,i dont really want to start pulling the carpets down.
