Hi, I've got a 1997 Cerbera and foolishly I left it out in the rain for a week! Now the drivers door won't open, so I entered the car from the passenger door which seems to work fine.As soon as the car started, the windscreen washers and wipers came on, the mainbeam lights were on and the boot lock won't open, in addition to the hazard lights constantly flashing and I can't override any of them!...Any help or comments would be very much appreciated!

RE the door problem, take off the door panel and there is an elec box inside, disconnect and clean up the contacts and try again. Also worth checking the control boxes under dash (both sides) and atop the petrol tank are all nice and dry!

Crikey that's a lot of stuff going on. Whenever my electrics have thrown an "en masse" hissy fit it is usually just down to a low battery power, a good blat to charge it up and they usually all go away again. It is possible that something in the door has got wet and caused a short and the additional drain but the rest of the things I think will sort themselves out.

You have a fuse gone and some of the functions are being backfed,

Check fuse 17, I think.
