I'm off to Spa on Thursday for a trackday and I'm a little concerned that my Sports pipes and No Cats might put me over the noise limit of 115dB.

I know it's high but I'd hate to get there and not ge to run dur to noise.

Any chance of a loan from someone?

Tried to buy the last set that came up on ebay and the classified here but got beaten to 'em.

Matt, I have a pair that slide up the tailpipes and hold in using a jubilee type clip...your more than welcome to borrow if u like. Diameter of these are approx 60mm or 2 3/8 inches.
Worked well for me at the CREAM event, and like u have decats and sports pipes, and unlike some silencers, they dont need a rope/bunjee strap to hold em up! smile

Mail me through my profile if yr interested.

Ridds, your welcome to try/borrow my ACT ones. Pickup from Brighton or Horsham. Let me know smile

Mine fit the 'standard' diameter sports pipes.

Ridds,

115 is seriously loud for a Cerby, I'd guess 110/112 absolute max.

also 115 is quite quiet for Spa, they don't have noise issues. we usually run up to 120db there.
its probably drive by in any case.

finally, I've been to spa many many times...don't think they've heard of db meters!

i wouldn't worry, unless you have thru pipes wink (and I've done Spa with thru pipes biggrin )

have fun

Cheers for your help and advice guys, thought 115 was seriously loud but I really don;t fancy the risk. £300 wasted if it were to happen.

Nick I will probably take you up on that.

I had been offered some by a very friendly Independant but he's further away than Horsham/Brighton.

Will mail you my number.
