Yep, great, seals failed as I rolled into my drive after blagging a track position at the Goodwood Supercar Breakfast Club.

Anyone got one?

If I can get one by tomorrow night I'm gonna attempt to change it before I leave for Spa and Le Mans on Wednesday.

Please Help!!!

Oh shit sorry to hear that, and how ironic that we discussed Fubes' similar problem at Goodwood. Hope you get it sorted.

laugh I know, I said to Nick yesterday that it was a bad omen for me with his going.

I'm just glad it went, not only here in the UK but also at teh end of my drive!!! Talk about lucky.

Have a feeling it's going to mean the change Monday night is going to be a pain.

Gonna try for a record breaking time. laugh

You're a brave man to try and fix it yourself as the slave is inside the bellhousing....

While you're at work check the mains and the clutch. On both the cerbs I had a slave failure always presaged something else. Clutch should feel really light, but they get heavier and you don't notice until the inevitable happens.

I'll take you up on that!

However (knowing he reads this sometimes), have I told you recently what a nice chap that Paul Austin is? Right top fellah. And if I was that way inclined (which Im not) he would be considered rather handsome.

I did mine twice, forst time 6 hours second 4 hours.

You can do it without taking the bellhousing out, if you are lucky.

Done, 6 hours with 2 of us working with coffee and fag breaks.

If you have access to a ramp it's actually a fairly easy job.

Big thanks to all that have helped over the last few days. Especially Andy at APM, Clever Trevor, plasticman and Mad Mark.

The worst part of the job was fixing the previous ups and improving the cack design of the slave cylinder. It had been beaten and was slightly oval. Also the finish from TVR leaves a little to be desired. No lead in for the seals when fitting and no chamfers on the oil passageways. All good now though.
