Does anyone know of somewhere that rebuilds the cerbera 4.2 power steering rack or know of any companies I can get a kit from to rebuild it. Live in the north east so somwhere near here would help. Tried the company who rebuild them for Hexham Horseless Carridges but even they have said they wont do it and they wont even do them for hexham any more!!! Any help much appreciated!!

I found it a pain in the ass to be fair - I tried to wiggle it every way I could so I didn't have to break the coolant pipes but in the end gave in to frustration and pulled the coolant pipes. After that its easy.

Is it completely knackered or just stiff?

If it's just stiff you can grease it yourself fairly simply.

There's pictures of how to do it on page 3 of the "twitchy front end" thread on here.

Put it this way. A clutch change is easier! (if you have a ramp).
