New HT leads on the horizon
Discussion
Hi all
Just thought I would let you all know that having chatted a few times to Jamie at Castle Race Engines about getting some HT leads like the Griff ones he does, he has supplied me with a mk1 set and he is are working on a tailored set. Apparently the mk2 set (he asked me to give some feedback on the frist ones so he could tailor them to our useage) should be available this week so will keep you posted but leads seem very good quality and engine is now running sweetly after my last set died. Oh and for the 'blue is best' brigade YES THEY ARE BLUE so no more spoiling your engine bays with those horrible red ones from Magnecor (yes I know my car is red and hence this is a daft comment but I thought I would get it in first).
For those that don't know him, Jamie is ex Power and knows his onions and has been very helpful with a few issues (and no I don't work for him - was just interested in an alternative to Magnecor from someone who really knows the engines).

Dunno where jools gets his from, but I think you would have to go some to beat them.
Only advice is that you should get the 4.2 length ones for the 4.5 as he recommends. That way they follow the coolant rails round the back of the engine for a nice neat job rather than drape across the engine.

julian64 - already suggested extending the length of the 4.2 set slightly over what Magnecor give to create a bit more room round back of engine and allow better seperation - waiting for mk2s to see how they fit. TVR EDD - email is jamie@castle-race-engines.com but he is a very busy bunny so don't expect immediate response. Web site is www.castle-race-engines.com
