I know the seals are on the way out cause in the morning after a blat the previuos day its been getting harder to find gears until its been pumped a while. Although there are no leaks the fluid is brown and full of black bits - seal residue I guess. Tonight I decided to refresh the fluid and tried to bleed it - but it wont. A little comes out but sucks back in again when the pedal is released.

Any ideas cause I currently have no resistance at the pedal at all

Sounds like your doin it wrong.

The bleednipple needs tightening back up again before releasing pedal.

Hi Russ

Unfortunately that doesnt seem to make any difference, The fluid in the reservoir just doesnt want to go down.

I wonder if there is a blockage somewhere. I made sure to syphon out the old fluid as well.

Dont you just love these cars

Could be that a clutch pipe is bent, as mine was causing a restriction. Dulfords had the job of fixing mine though.

Try a compressed air line bleeder, this may help smile

I think the seals have finally gone and need replacing.

Some Cerberas have the inlet ports in the slave at 9 and 3 oclock, which makes bleeding the clutch almost impossible. Its much better to have them at 12 and 6.
