Anyone know what product to use to remove the nice TVR factory glue stains from leather & vinyl?

Obviously, I don't want to damage the materials - Or is this something we have to live with?

White spirits, it's cheap, doesn't have much smell, glue comes off easy with it and won't harm anything, I have used it for years with no troubles at all.

White spirits should be fine for the job.

Well, I tried White Spirit and it only seemed to work on the vinyl. Not so clever on the leather. Maybe the fact that the glue hadn't been touched for 7 years a factor in this.

Anyway, I had a tub of swarfega Heavy Duty hand wipes (for oil available from B&Q) and they seemed to work better with no smell. The wipes also have the advantage of a "rough" side. Please note - These are NOT the paint & sealant wipes, which are far too astringent!!

Much better, but not perfect as I have magnolia leather and didn't want to rub too hard in one spot. The glue on vinyl just falls off with ease though smile

No more brown glued up stitching, just nice and white cool
