So as you guys know i use to be a porsche driver so since i bought this cerb it ...so it has brought joy and pain..whilst the porsche brought only joy..

Now....!!!! we are finally there..pure Joy ....Off the Austec Rollers at 402 bhp...

the car has gone through four different sets of high end shocks...we have setteled with Intrax... it was a tough choice between intrax and Ohlins..Up grade clutch amd master cylinder...ugraded racing brakes ..car stopping power is unbelievable..sp performance exhaust...ACT induction kit...smoother freer revving ..far more driveable..no more lumpiness.... The cerb is a total pleasure to drive...if only they could have come out of the factory like that .....!!

yea you were just pulling out of austec on thursday when i was pulling in,,
re the body work upgrades, the body work design is in progress ...we are working from the pheonix project inspiration...and the drawings are nearly complete.. the key is this should not look like a body kit...we are not talking max power..no disrespect to the max power mob....what we want is a finished car a new cerb...i believe that the weakness in the design is that the original design (which is beautiful) is too slim... i think the length of the front outbalances the rear , so i think the back haunches need to be more muscular..when u look at the pheonix design the car is far more balanced than the two cerbs sitting next to it.. comments please...and whats the bible re interiors..if we pull these seats out and put matching magnolia cobra recaro or sparco..is that like pissing on the nostalgia of the CERB

Any info on the brakes you have used as looking at upgrading mine soon - have you had a complete overhaul with all new components and if so what did you go with (if you don't mind me asking that is)?

Great news, despite all the story's of getting over 400hp it is still a big achievement for any Cerb to get there, however the bits inbetween and smooth delivery are worth far more imho biggrin.
Do you have the new 6 pot brakes Paul was telling me about, be nice to see some pictures. Let us know how you get on with the Intrax too.

Short Induction and remap will give around the 400bhp mark, in some instances slightly less.

The ACT Induction kit (according to the website http://www.actproducts.co.uk/inductionpackages.php ) is £650 + fitting. You'd have to speak to Austec for a price on a remap.

HTH a little smile

ETA: If I had read further down the web page I would have seen the bit that says induction kit and MBE chip is £995 + VAT paperbag

comments please...
As a final year car design student, I'll wait for the sketches before commenting, but sounds alright at the moment, im not a big fan of the pheonix's design, but thats just my opinion - one which I will ignore as I love the rest of the thinking behind it! smile
