I've just taken my inlet tubes off my 4.5 to take a at the throttle assemblies. The butterflies are held with two screws one plain, one with a drilling. However, looking from the driver's seat, the two end throttles on the lefthand bank don't have drilled screws. Is this right?

Also there is a rubber pipe connected just below the first throttle on the left hand bank. Is that the vacuum line for the brakes?

The butterflies aren't individually adjustable. So the drilled screws are to adjust the airflow at idle to get all the inlets pulling about the same air.

Not sure about the hose ( I have a 4.2). But it could be the take off for the baro pressure sensor.

Sounds like it's been somewhere where they know what they are doing, you should be pleased. To balance the air properly good tuners drill holes etc. I think some of the cars that 'trackcar' has improved have had holes drilled to get the best performance.
