Bloody rain...
Discussion
Is it ever going to stop? I've been walking round it, admiring it, opening the door and watching the optimate go orange, sitting in it, pressing its buttons, listening to the stereo, asking the Tracker where it is and if it's feeling ok. Everything except driving the bloody thing.
Picked her up from the bodyshop at the weekend (in the rain of course) after her new paint job. As a result of the door injury (by someone who wishes to remain anonymous), she's had 10 panels resprayed - basically the whole car except the roof and passenger side door. All in the name of blending in, I'm told. This was done by Village Coachworks in Ripley, Surrey. Looks great, the front contours are particularly glassy, except for a few lacquer drips on the underhangs and the odd matt patch which they're gonna sort out for me. They managed to rough up one of the rear light lenses but they assure me they can polish it out. I also have some new spiders ready to go on which look gorgeous. At least if/when I lose embarrasingly at FT I might get a rosette for Best of Show
Talking of which, Joolz: am I still on your waiting list for a tune up?

I agree that driving a cerb in bad weather when you arent in a driving mood etc isnt much fun. But I found that when I was in the mood the weather didnt matter - snow, rain, sun etc... drive it and enjoy tail out, smooth corners, hitting the apex, double de-clutch etc etc - the joys of the cerbera highs.
Get it out the garage, if they're right about this summer being the wettest ever you are going to have to bite the bullet eventually and get it out.
We took ours to North Lincolnshire at the weekend, and drove back in rain, lots of standing water on the motorway, the car never put a foot wrong.
O/T I had the back end step out on me on a roundabout the other day in the dry
another car pulled across the front of me and I had to pull sharply left to avoid their back end. Thankfully it didn't step out too far, and I was straight for my exit
