well today was my initiation to the quirk club!, took her down on my daily commute route to london, as i was bringing her for service, boot decided to open at about 110 kilometres on the M1, various accelerate/brake combinations wouldnt shut it so i hard shouldered her for a minute to shut it, parked her up in multistory (no choice frown ) went to show one of the guys I work with, he jumped in passenger seat, learnt all about that horrible awful bottoming out noise, and how little tolerance people behind show, he went to hop out to check how much bottoming out clearance I had, car wouldnt let him out, passenger door was making clicking noise but not firing it open, so im stuck half way trying to get up one of those stupid ramps, hes stuck in the car, the car is almost refusing to go into any gear, lucky im the patient kind that doesnt panick :P laughed it off! all part of the fun and games! she bottoms out quite easily, I've had low cars before, so must get back into my old habits of dead slow over all/any bumps/ramps etc, and preferably at an angle.
