Looked nearly finished when I saw it last. The exhausts are a work of art .. very impressive looking car. When it'll be finished i've no idea but all the hard work looked to have been done already.

Yeah its nearly done!!!! Hat off to Campbell! Thats going to be one mean mother of a cerbie! The intake manifold is a peice of art from what I hear too. Light years ahead of my project! My engines still in bits! frown

Campbell has always been the first with these things too, lets not forget - he was the first to get his car remapped!!! albeit with a Motec ECU IIRC, got around 380bhp out of it. thumbup

No he wasnt! nono

Rob Ingram was the first! with an early DTA! one of the first 4.2's to come off the production line, and a week later he had it reconfigured for racing WITH Penskes (10k's worth) and water injection!

Theres a shit load of Cerbie owners from way back who never trolled these forums, who did a lot with their cars before there ever existed a 'tuning' world for cerbs! If you look around, there were cars with oil accumulators installed, someone did a hybrid meth injection one, someone way before Campbell and Craig even did NOS (blew his engine though)... to date only Craig has ever achieved a proper NOS install... obviously just like a huge number of current cerb owners dont honour our presence on these forums, back then it wasnt compulsary to join PH even though PH had just started out and wasnt well known. I'm still in touch with Rob and he's now running the first Murcielago in the UK to be NOS'd and running off a Wolf ECU.

One things for sure though, if Campbells car makes it out of Autocraft alive, it will be the FIRST 5.5 litre cerb and supercharged at that too including the first sequential box install on a road going cerb too.

Bruv, I think you probably already know the state of my project... not to worry though, 4-5 weeks and the engine will be up and running on dyno as I've been told. Fingers crossed.

Ok then, the first with a 4.5 to get it mapped, atleast he was the first to find the real gains to be made by mapping the 4.5... I've no idea who Rob Ingram is, and im well aware alot of people a while back werent on PH, but was he on the Cerb yahoo egroups??

Either way, im sure there are loads of people out there who havent even heard of this place/others - though you would have thought that if someone was going to mod a specialist car in such a way, they'd have a quick look on the internet to see if anyone had done anything similar as research surely?

Keep faith with the pheonix, hopefully it'll be worth it very soon. smile
