I'm going to be a reall killjoy and say that looks bl**dy dangerous!

Would hate to think of what would happen in a crash, especially if you couldn't get the tie down off! eek

Why bother with all that tie down if you only sat in teh driveway ? That set up is really dangerous (and not covered by insurance). Cerbs arent a good place for a baby - but if you have to carry a rear facing seat then it should go in the front (even then I never felt comfortable that the baby was safe when I sometimes carried out kids as babies).

can't you just use the boot?

Dont waste the boot - you need to keep that clear for shopping and tools.
The bonnet is massive - surely a few self tappers and you could put the baby there. Could teach him to hold the sat nav up for you and to look out for speed cameras?

Don't carry a sub 9 month old child in the Cerb, it's wrong and you know it - for sooooo many different reasons.

If the child cannot hold its own head up it cannot control the 'G' in acceleration, deceleration and cornering.

If the answer is you don't do that with the kid in it, then drive the kid in the eurobox instead.

My youngest is 15 months, he now (rarely) sits in a forward facing seat in the front and points at red lights whilst laughing - (nothing to do with me, no honest - he just does it).

It's a joy to have him in it, but I drive far more conservatively, not because he's in it (being a child) but because he doesn't have the muscular requirements to combat the increased forces that are put on him.

On the flip side my eldest is also 15 (years not months) and I test him whenever he's in it - he however cannot point at lights because he's handing on.

Last but not least, don't you get the hump that the child seat puts great big dimples in the leather for weeks?

Anyhow, great ingenuity in achieving the pictures, just listen to the wife, just this once, you can live of it for years – ‘yeah, but when you said……’

Nice car.
