I do a good mix of different types of driving, and am finding you'll get 250+ out of a tank.

Hope that helps.

I get around that too. A recent trip to cumbria was 240+ miles and i although not on empty i would not run it down any further. That includes motorway speeds and down to 40 on main roads plus the usual traffic jams around the lakes.

I guess I'd be safer to fill her up before leaving and refilling her when I've travelled 200 miles then. Thanks thumbup

I have had about 450 miles of mainly motorway driving to one tank. It eventually ran out as I got to a pub and had to push it into a parking space after I copletely forgot it still ran on the stuff.

Wow thats good going - has your car had a remap or something? The most I've got is just a smidge over 300 when cruising to Le Mans one year at a steady 80mph.

Knowing plasticman and how handy he is, he has probably installed a bigger tank or designed and fitted a system that lets it run on fumes! Oh and by the way he don't drive like Miss Daisy.

200 tops - my petrol guage is very accurate ( a surpise there then !) so I just go by the guage.

Funny that Marcus, as mine is very accurate too, although saying that...I've run it down to empty without running out of fuel. The best way around to have it I guess.

Maybe blue ones are the fastest ...and... they have the most accurate fuel guages - there seems to be a pattern emerging!

I've had 260miles down to the virtually empty mark then still got 59 litres of fuel in so had some to go. It's a 65ltr tank isnt it???

The last thing I think about in this car is how many miles you get to a tank....if I was worried about that i'd have bought a Smart Car smile

Nice to know though.

I can just imagine down the pub - 'How many litres does the tank hold mate - oh about 60 - how many miles to a tank - umm I don't know' - lots of laughing and eyebrow raising etc.

Ok getting a little worried now. I average 150-160ish miles to a tank. Struggle to 200 on a run! Are you guys all driving re-mapped cars?

Mine is exactly the same as yours.

Don't forget blue/purplish ones use more petrol because they are faster. thumbup
