My year long search has finally come to an end
Discussion
After a year long search I am pleased to say I have finally bought a Cerb
Some might say it is foolish to buy a car without actually seeing it, I guess I shall find out very soon if this is true as I haven't seen it yet
Many thanks to everyone who has helped me along the way, whether on forum or behind the scenes (you know who you are)
May I also say a big thank you to the dealer Philip Phedonos who has been nothing but a true gentleman all the way through my dealings with him (even when I gave him the tight Scotsman routine when it came to talking money
)
This has brightened up what started off as a horrible day.

It's similar colour to my Techno Violet. Lovely carpets. Need to get mine done. A bit tatty compared to these.
Is your Techno Violet one the one that Offords had for sale?Well done!
Bravery is something associated with buying cerbs full stop. You can research and get inspected till the cows come home, but you can still get bitten on the bum. Let's face it, once you set your heart on a car, the owner could tell you it's a crock, but you will still want it badly. Good Luck.
P.S. It's a bit camp!

A year ago now - how quickly time flies when you're having fun.Edited by Byker28i on Friday 13th July 11:17
Well I'm pleased to say Hannibal and I had an uneventful journey From Edmonton to Falkirk (well apart from the tw@t towing the caravan who thought it would be fun to almost sideswipe me into the crash barriers
) Got 311 miles from a tank of fuel although I wasn't brave enough to let the gauge get further down than halfway between 1/4 and empty which averaged out at 25.5 miles per gallon, pleasantly surprised by this.
Hannibal has already made quite an impact on the locals with one girl in particular cruising past the car extra slowly with dribble on her chin 4 times
and one other chap actually stopped and asked me to let him hear the car :thumbsup:
Still can't beleive it is sitting on my drive
I really must say something about the dealer I purchased the car from Philip Phedonos. I can honestly put my hand on my heart and say I have never dealt with a car dealer that even comes half way close to offering a service close to what this man does, he is an enthusiast and TVR driver and knows the cars inside out, Christ I almost felt sorry for him as I drove the Cerbera away from his lot such is his love of the cars.
Anyway I must go and have another look at him
