Resistance is futile.......
I must must must not spend any money before we exchange on the new house next week and hand over the cash in late August. Will then be able to think about a new car BUT my house will be about 250 miles from my office so a cerb is probably a silly idea!

Fantastic .... the first cracks, it's all downhill from now ... number 3 is a certainty biggrin

To be fair and if memory serves, you used to commute from Chiddingfold to Reading and did not use the Cerb for that either (least not every day) so what's the diff? Just get a cheap 4.2 as a weekend toy, prices are so cheap you would be mad not too.

hehe

I said it wouldnt be long...

Next step is looking at www.pistonheads.com/ads (even put the link for you Gazza, click it go on..) and thinking "hmm, a ford focus diesel and an early TVR Cerbera 4.2 could be done for very reasonable money indeed!"

What else goes/ sounds/ looks/ performs anything like the Cerb for under £12k??

aggghhh - I may have more cash than I at first thought. Sadly the white 'last one' has gone. I am resisting though. My new house is about 10 miles or so from TCS' premises.

Just watched that TG review again - and I'm a little confused.

I thought I'd read that the car was a 4.2, indeed the caption at the end says its a 4.2, but its clearly got the 4.5 intakes.

Also, what are the two knobs on the LEFT hand side of the gear stick?

Hot and Cold controls would be my guess, placed there after a mad night on the golden mile.

My thoughts exactly. Although the hoses are black and not the 4.5 alien purple. Only quoted at 170MPH though.... tsk tsk, we all know it's quicker than that.
