After not using mine for 2 weeks (rain ), I noted a slight clonk on quick steering movements. However after several miles it would seem to have vanished. Even so, I suspect its a sign that something's not as it should be. Any ideas please?
It could be anything! Suspension/shock bushes, steering u/j loose or worn out, trackrod end, ball joints? Try getting someone to lightly rock the steering wheel and see if you can see or feel any play in anything.
