Well not long to go now until the big event and was wondering what everyone has done in preparation for Fighting Torque.

I'll start

- New set of brake disks (the thought of the end of the runway yikes)
- Service

Just a wash and polish now and thats me ready biggrin

For all those with adjustable dampers, look at maybe softening up the rear and dropping the rear tyre pressures a bit. The surface ain't like at the Pod - so you'll need to get the power down to get an early start - for some cars you'll be up against, you gonna need every inch!!!

Lucky for me, I can drop the rear bump settings and drop the front rebound too, which should give the car good bite on launch - too firm at you'll light the tyres up (which admittedly will look good on HD DVD!)

My preparation involves getting totally wasted on alcahol - I am not going as I am running the engine back in, so rather than sit around moping, I am going to erase all memory of the event at the local.

Mind you, have hit high reves a few times recently and not lost a drop of oil... mmm... I wonder???
