And I'm not even new...

Alarm went off a couple of times yesterday for no reason. When disabled and armed again, the green light under the big turn-off key, ashtray kind of area stays flashing rapidly (i.e. more than once a second) No obvious problems, but the manual does say that in these quick-flashing circumstances "there is a fault". Just curious really: anyone got any idea what that fault might be?

When I lock mine the green light flashes. I just thought it was supposed to do that. I'll check the manual.

it's a cerb so check all fuses, twice.

I had this green flashing light. also came with dodgy door window operatiion.

check the buttons doors etc work fine then look at the control bow in the boot. if you can swap yours with a known good one to test.

Needed a 'new' door window box part meo154.

all is fine now. Of course yours may be a completely different issues.

it's a cerb.

Thanks, chaps. Yes it's supposed to flash when alarm is armed - but it's suppposed to flash slowly. Manual says, when it's flashing rapidly "there's a fault". It just doesn't tell you what sort of fault or what you might do about it!

Check the door switches - open the door and they are located at the bottom of the door. One of mine stopped my alarm from arming - it just kept beeping at me. Gave it a wiggle and a few pushes, and it was ok.

Thanks very much - I'll try that this evening. I wonder if the alarm is going off even now in the station car park....
