Thanks to all of you who came in to have a chat in the pits yesterday. It's great to have support and inspired me for the second race.

The second start to the second race,(the restart caused by Howard and myself coming off as I went on the grass in the melee at the first hairpin and came back on backwards!!) Was terrific as I went round in 7th until missing a gear change and letting the two Tuscans and the T350 through.

Obviously really pleased that the Cerb is holding its own now that I am understanding how to push it on.

Also thanks to Andy of APM, not only for preparing the car but for all his support and the experience of fixed the little things in between the track time that avoid the big things!

Next event for me is Brands.

See you there!

Jonny

Good effort Jonny W. Nice pics of '69' on the other forums - where these taken before the 'came back onto the track backwards' moment? Hopefully no armco rash? You need to update your car details on Piston Heads and get Rangey on there - that Frontera of yours must be different to the one I've been in to be worth £1,500. Perhaps an update on the Jag X Type value is also in order?

Pam's said she's happy to stick with the X-Type for a year as it won't depreciate much over the next 12 months, joke was she was referring to the A quality column!!

Alistair,

There wasn't a lot of time on Sunday with two qualifiers and two races so the checks were a little hectic.

Brands should be more leasurely so if your coming I'll give you a tour of the car.

Got stuck in the middle of the Taz's own battle in race one, as they really were really going for it around the back of the circuit.they kept ambushing me at the hairpin.

If you run the loop three times that'll be about right!!!

There really was great racing throughout the field.
