Had my car on the rollers on monday/tuseday at Austec here are the results.

The car had a few problems like the timing being 6 degrees out and duff tappets anyway all sorted now. The car is totally standard. Having it remaped has made it a lot easer to drive and no more detonation smile Just need to save up for some decat pipes and short induction.
Top work Austec.

Good to hear you are happy.

Your results are at the bottom end of what's expected for just a remap and nothing else, although your torque appears to be low. Some cars will hit 390bhp without short induction, realistically that would be the best you would be able to hope for if short induction was fitted along with a decat. The other benefit of the ACT/Whirlwind type induction is that when mapped it will give you a smoother graph (power/torque delivery), hence driveability improves, you will also see your peak torque and power figures move up the rev range, but overall spread should be improved.

Happy driving,

Jules.

Paul did say my cats could be blocked due to bad running.

Hi Dave,

That sounds quite probable, so it's really worth getting it sorted. Best bet would have been to have dropped them off and stuck some straight through or decat pipes on whilst on/off the rolling road then you would have known for sure, it would save you having to have it mapped again after you've sorted them.

Jules.
