Just a warning to fellow tvr owners to avoid censored.

i had a lot of trouble getting my car back as the guy kept giving me excuse after excuse. i had a three month wait and many promises broken by them. when i got my car back it had to go straight back (to castle tvr, this time).

just wanted to warn you lot.

cheers.

Be fair - 2 posts in 6 months, he's probably not read the forum rules.

Sorry to hear of your woes, it is a shame that the bad experiences can not usually be posted but I do understandthe legal implications.

They don't have subsidiaries in the West Midlands & Cornwall do they ?

I could think of a couple of companies that I deal with, that fit their m.o.

How on earth do they find these little gems so quickly, so that they can censor them?

Surely can't be trawling through each station all the time?

I get the feeling there are a lot of moderators, so 1 moderator only has to scan a few forums?

Many hands make light work & all that..... type

Not a bad job then...especially if you're into your cars and all that.

I wonder how much they get paid?

Nothing!

We do it for the privilege.

There are about 20 of us moderator volunteers.

The likes of PetrolTed, Garlick and Racing Pete all work for Haymarket in one-way or another.

How do we pick up on problems, issues?

We potentially have around 80 000 moderators! yep 80 000.

You can all use the report button. wink

can you Email me 'mewc' I'd like to be warned about dealers that some of us have had bad experiences with. (for what it's worth, I disagree with all the reasons given by the moderators for not allowing us that facility.)

That's not so stupid considering this site is now owned by Haymarket Publications. I bet noone else works for them gratis.

What exactly are the reasons that your not allowed to comment upon poor service?

Surely any comments made are personal to the user submitting amd are not necessarily the opinion of the site or any moderator.

Any legal beagles out there to give a steer?
