I've got car number 0005!!!
Discussion
mad mark had a very early cerbera with a wide airfilter intake the like of which i'd never seen before or since on any production cerb so i guess that was a pre-production item or only on the very first few cars? no idea what number car it was though .. but the car is still owned by a friend of his so maybe we could find out?
Who has the very first production cerbera out of the 1996(?) that were made?

Mines Sept 96 but I think mines a few hundered into the production run tbh, one possitive, apart from the usual wishbone powder coating the chassis is so much better than a lot of much later cars
. Didn't the early ones come in nearer 1100kGs and have stronger drive shafts too
.
Mine was a May 1996 car, production number was below a hundred I believe but not sure what it was.

According to the information, which was originally from a posting on PH, my VIN number denotes the car is build number 1568 in June 1996.
I thought they only made about 2000 Cerbs in total?
That can't be right I thought they only made about 2000 Cerbs in total?

Bring back the bouncing norks - was always a pleasure dipping into your profile
I would but 3 moderators agreed that the knockers could be dangerous to someone who goes into my profile at work even though theres no nudity it can still cause trouble...

Dont want my profile to be the reason to get someone fired

Mine was registered by TVR on 11 January 1996 (chassis number 011001) and kept by the factory until AS cleared the 'development' cars out in 2005. She is well known to ex-factory employees as 'Doris'.
It has a few quirks aparantly the chassis is slightly different to usual, it has a balanced crankshaft, and then most of the mods up to the end of production such as latest clutch system, 4.5 upgrade AP brake system, later oil breather and the nose is re-modelled from a Chimera.

I would've considered keeping it totally standard if that was the case..
Getting any nearer the drag strip yet?
Oh, the Phoenix? naaa thats not the one I'm talking about, this No.5 is the one in my other project. I've got 3 cerbs altogether hehe (greedy I know), one has become the engineless Phoenix (ongoing project, headache, nightmare, sleepless nights, hopefully will get there). The second is a 800bhp Twin Turbo Cerbie (mechanically completed, just finalising electronics - custom ECU etc). Third is for a future project.Getting any nearer the drag strip yet?
Slinky I was well up for drag-racing, but now the Phoenix is just going to attempt to be a Buggati eater in the road-legal top-speed book... and after that it'll be my everyday company car, lol.
The 800bhp monster about to come out soon is going to be a little bit gruntier than the big hairy Phoenix (Phoenix is more geared towards top-speed, a motorway eater, power band completely different.
...theres the heads-up anyway.
