OK there is always a bit to much doom and gloom on the cerb site (my condolences to Stas) with people having problems with their cars (me included). So lets hear peoples stories about their fav moments with their cerbs, a kind of Friday feelin type of post.

My fav was picking the car up and the journey home, the sound, smell and all the looks made my year!!

Same too, the first car alarm set off.

Everytime driving it is a favourite moment especially after giving it a good clean and polish.

Beating a motorbike then at traffic lights taking his helmet off, shaking his head and asking what the f**k was under the bonnet.

Women shouting at you asking you to rev the engine!!

Too much to list, I have never been so happy owning a car like I do with this one.

Can't drive it anywhere without someones mouth gaping open in awe at such a beautiful beast.

Found a country lane about 2 miles long near me with plenty of testing bends and few nice straights, no camera's, no cars, national speed limit, midnight, windows down, awesome!!

T.

P.S. Still only seen one Cerb on the road since I've had it!!!

A-road coming off the A1 towards Nottingham last weekend. Cars in front waving me on, drop it down a gear, roar past

...being the first car onto a cross channel ferry and giving it some throttle - the noise / echo almost made me wet pants laughing.

Some guy at the garage dashed over to say 'Nice car mate' recently but then he made a 2@ of himself by saying that his father had the same car but his was an automatic!!!!! Another laugh.

...starting up the car at Safeway and causing a lady to drop all three bags of shopping.

Every trip is a laugh.

Many moments, classic one morning when Bonce came into work and said..

'Your car was on fire again when it came past on the A11, big blue flames from the exhausts'.

Took a prospective customer for a "test drive" - "OK, OK You've got the order" he shouted as we approached a hair pin bend at warp 3.

Having read some threads, I thought apart from your engine troubles, you'd enjoyed the car?

errr Dartford tunnel, Limehouse Link tunnel, M25 tunnel near M11 junction, tunnel at Blackfriars, etc etc. After 18 months I still have to wind the windows down and drop a gear (or two). Missus thinks I'm sad (she may have a point).

Also getting told by a complete strange that he liked my car but would prefer a Cerbera made me laugh??

I did enjoy it immensly, it was the best sports car I have ever owned, I am now looking at getting a Tuscan or T350 but having sat in a 350 not sure if I will fit for long periods......

The shooting was only a joke( knew I wasn't funny )

Mine was overtaking Steve Barber on a foreign motorway. He was doing 175 mph. I was doing 190

Sheer joy. We then spent a couple of minutes (and several miles) cruising in convoy at 190. 7,000 RPM in top. Lovely...

Just about everything I ever did in it....

1.Setting off car alarms
2.making people jump when starting it up at petrol stations.
3. burn outs at Le Mans
4. Me and Bennno in our Cerbs overtaking a shocked French guy in a Porsche 911 at about 150mph on the way back from Le Mans..

Worst moments were...
1. Selling it....
2. The kids in my road coming round a week later and saying "Where has your wicked car gone mister?"

One of my favourite moments was cruising slowly up Leopoldstraasse in Munich on a lovely summer's evening with windows down when this guy in a brand new Bentley Arnage pulls up alongside as we stop in the traffic. He looked down at me and said "It's great to see two fine English cars together" I just couldn't resist the response "Yeah, but yours is a Volkswagen!!"

So many it's hard to think of 1 that stands out !

Actually, 1 does spring to mind... March 2nd 2002, meeting 5 other Cerbera's at Dartford at 06:00 on a Saturday morning & driving to York for the Elvington airfield day. Various things happend during the 300 miles there, the highlight being a Supra (complete with bust-bin exhaust) deciding to "take on" the Cerbera at the rear of the convoy. The poor bloke must have though World War 3 had started as 5 other Cerbera's dropped a cog or 2, and all left him for dead !
