havent mentioned it to wifey yet.i thought about selling her car its wotrh £7000 £8000 and£35 a
year road tax,then buying somethimg very very cheap.
her work round trip is about 16 miles a day.i could then put the money aside for the cerb fund
seems a good idea to me any thoughts anyone?

Sell her car, buy her an early Eunos (mx-5). 1.8 engine, all the good bits like aircon, electric windows etc and you'll pick one up for under £3k. Oh and they do 30-35mpg

perhaps i should have mentioned as well,next febuary is our 25th wedding anniversary two weeks in barbados booked to celebrate.when i mention my master plan to wifey there might be a cheap holiday up for sale. also i have offered to sell my daily car but she dosent want me to do that.

right i'm back,her car came up really well.i notice mrs cerbs been on while i've been away.
plan b is for sale ford mondeo sttdci 1 owner etc.
plan c is we are both off today, mrs cerb is upstairs getting ready i'm taking her shopping then on for a nice lunch.
wait for jack daniels to work it's magic then slip my plan into the conversation again,it might be pushing it but in for a penny a sp exhaust system would make a great anniversary present

I wanted to book up to see the Hatton fight in Vegas last week & got turned down flat (I haven't told her yet, but I've already booked my flight anyway)

After A meal & A few drinks last night, somebody mentioned the "Tutankhamen" exhibition coming up in London, which she wants to go to, and she rather fancied staying at that nice "Jolly" hotel again.
