Tonight I was chauffeuring a friend's daughter to a grad ball in the Cerb, which went down well all round!

But on the way home the clutch went - bite point really low down, difficulty getting into gear etc, usual symptoms of not declutching fully.

So I'm guessing slave and/or clutch fingers. I'm not too surprised, I was kinda expecting it, 37,000 miles on the original is pretty good.

So my question is- is it worth paying the extra for the Clever Trevor clutch kit? Or shall I just get a standard replacement?

And where's the best place to get the bits lately?

Cheers!

Andy.

I have just fitted the clever trevor clutch but kept my own friction plates as my tvr clutch failed after 8k miles

The peddle feels a little harder to press but feels nice

go for it

I've just fitted a Raceproved clutch kit from Trackcar solutions. Comes with slave cylinder and fully rebuilt clutch. These are the same as the ones from Clever Trevor.

I decided this was a better long term solution than the standard clutch. Only fitted it last night but have noticed the clutch pedal is a lot lighter.

It turned out to be a blessing that I went with the Raceproved clutch as my original was special and the standard type didn't work!! Russell of Raceproved then investigated further to find a solution and supplied a unit to fit my cerbera, this time it fitted a treat and I now have my P&J back! woohoo

Seems quite a popular club! I'm currently a member but hoping to be back on the road next week. I went with a standard clutch and slave as I couldn't get hold of a clever trev one.

No clever trevor clutches at the moment. Been wanting one myself for 6 weeks.

well worth getting he does put them through a proper test with a rig
the man behind them is a clever (no pun)chap and seems to put more research in
than TVR IMHO
