After 10 years of TVR ownership, and over 7 years in a Cerb i have just watched my 4.2 burble and spit it's way into new ownership.

From commuting to London, trackdays or Duxford / North weald experiences she never failed to put a smile on my face.

I'd like to say thank you to all those who have helped me over the years, with either advice, parts or services.

In future i will be found lurking in the Porsche forums, but will remember these hallowed halls fondly.

Glad you enjoyed it, and it made more of an impression on you than other cars that have graced your garage (like the "forgotten" elise!) smile Have fun with the new car!

Morning TC,

No, mine went to a chap from the west country. I'm sure he will be hooning his way here at some point. Also want to point him towards Joolz for upgrades, as he always did me well.

Would be nice to have another Cerbie owner around.

Hi BIG DOG...

I live in the West (though not quite as far west as you), plus there's another PH Cerb owner that lives just down the road from me, so we are about...

He's a P'her so I'm sure he will make himself known.

Good to now that there are friendly faces down there for him. His local Dealer is 30 or so miles away, but any good independant feedback would probably be welcome.

I'm the proud new owner of Simonds Cerbera! This just so say hi, and, as Simond says, any advice on where to go for servicing and, more urgently, tuning would be greatly appreciated. Aware of Peninsula Cars - the TVR / Lotus dealership, but more than happy to use an independent if he comes recommended. Based close to Totnes. Thanks in advance...

Hey Dreddlock - welcome to TVR ownership. i am pretty new myself, so finding my feet also.

If you are looking for a respected indie in the south west try:

I haven't used them yet, but am about to book my new cerb in for a service there as I have heard good things about them.

I have personal experience of Penninsula (from when I was a Lotus owner) which I am happy to share with you in a PM if you are interested.
