Cerbera Production Figures
Discussion
This question comes up every couple of months and the most common number seams to be 1996 which was provided by someone on the production line. but theres prob alot fewer on the road now what with crashes and fires! plus with the prices the way they are I think we're going to lose alot more!

do you mean that cheaper cars lead to the halfords racer brigade joining the club? ending in inevitable roundabout write-offs?southendpier said:

From being a young cerb owner myself i dont think we need to worry. Most of my mates dont really understand the cerb. Most think it has a rover engine. They certainly dont realise the true power of the cerb. Most younger people just dont appreciate these cars. (This is a good thing)

Agreed.....one guy turned his nose up at mine the other day then got into so "car" ....may have started out life as a nova / corsa but i couldn't tell Mike
The Cerb is too low for 2 50" diameter exhausts that the Max Power generation require. The other problem is the amount of people who buy them "blind".
These days A £10k Cerb that's using oil, rotten chassis, duff shocks, clutch, is easily going to end up costing you another £10k on top of the buying price.
I do wonder sometimes, if new buyers know what they're getting in to.

What we need is form V888 - request for information from DVLA.
http://www.dvla.gov.uk/media/pdf/forms/v888.pdf
At least that will tell us how many they have listed and how many are taxed, i.e. on the road in the UK.
Best £2.50 spent.
Anyone from the club fancy a go... Might need to give an official reason.
