Are the 145/45 16 rear tyres rare?
Discussion
I went to get two new tyres for the back of my car yesterday ..... and failed miserably.
It seems nobody has the 145/45 16 tyres in stock.
The future plans for the car include a new set of larger alloys but, as I'm heading to France next Thursday, new tyres will do for now.
I know I'm a bit out in the sticks but I certainly didn't expect nobody to have them.
It looks like lots of calls will have to be made in the morning to try and sort them before I leave.
Otherwise I'll have to try and locate a set, and have them fitted, in the UK as I pass through.
Do the rest of you have the same problem getting tyres?

I'd have no trouble getting them locally if they were either 17" or 18" but it's the 16" in that width and profile that are scarce.http://www.camskill.co.uk/
I've got a few places to try tomorrow over here so hopefully I'll be ok.
