I've found a space-saver spare that will fit a Cerb.

I heard or read somewhere that the Cerb has the same 5-stud pattern as the R-34 Skyline so I decided last evening to check.

It does.

While I can't see it being the most popular mod ever for a Cerb, it does offer an alternative to the "tin of foam".

Oh, and it doesn't look pretty ..... eek

Did you try the front? Does it clear the caliper?

Ive also got a space saver that fits the Cerb. Strange thing is, it went off for a service without one and returned with one in the boot. Now thats service! hehe

I didn't.

But I'd reckon it will as there's loads of space behind it.

If I get time later I'll try it.

That's interesting that a few Jap ones will fit.

Does that mean we have more options for after-market alloys that I thought?

I think you will find that the hub the wheel centres on is a different size . I borrowed the space saver from my wifes mr2 and had to use it at Le mans but it worked its way loose very quickly.

I suggested this to someone ages ago and they pointed out .. "does a full size wheel fit in your boot?"

Again ive never tried but could be interesting - may need to add some bungee straps to hold boot down!

gen 3 rx7s are the same pcd and offset, the spigot dia is different but most aftermarket wheels use adaptor rings,if the wheels are coming loose i think it would be down to the wrong type of wheel nuts there are lots of types,

I think the answer is yes... one certainly fits behind the seats - there was a photo on here ages ago of (then)Dave Haslams Cerb BIGTOY with a full set of slicks on board (now owned by TooTallPaul) smile We only ever managed to get two in though (keeping two of the seats free for passengers I think... I took the other two in my smart!)
