Sorry this is on the general forum as well but cerb forum seemed to be down earlier.

Just fitted new pads all round been out for a quick spin and the front pads seem to be knocking, pads seemed a bit slack when i fitted them. Need to get it sorted as i'm at croft on wednesday any ideas?

Thanks in advance

Squeeze some silcon sealer to back of pad before putting into calipers.Gentley squeeze brake pedal to take up slack between piston and pad. This will allow them to 'bond' with pistons and stop the rattling...dont over do the silcon sealer though!

I have just used normal clear silicon in the past. Only need enough for pad to bond with caliper pistons...

Allow a bit of time for silicon to cure before trying it...longer left the better, but a couple of hours at least
