ok
when starting the engine from cold ,and has been raining, when the temp gauge reaches about 65 the mil light comes on accompanied by that charming little bleep..... then, when the temp reaches about 75-80 it all clears away and is fine. till i go throgh a big puddle then it might start again or it might not.
any ideas??? weeping

Hi !

Connect a computer to the ECU and check which sensor that is giving you the fault code. Then you have to clean, dry and seal the connector for that sensor.

I had that. Turned out it was the lambda sensor that was faulty & needed changing.
