Help please....

Very frustrated... just got home and the boot solenoid has packed up, trapping my clothes, toiletries and other stuff in the boot!!!! I've had a fumble around having a rough idea of the procedure, but to no avail. Plus my owners handbook is down south! Please can someone email me a detailed method of how to pop the boot, else I'll use a crow bar. Its been one of those weeks !!
