Just thought i would say hello and describe my initial experiences of ownership. I bought this cerb from Warren at TopCats racing

http://www.pistonheads.com/sales/243773.htm

It is in very good condition the exterior is immaculate! Apart from the usual heartbreak that i seem to experience with every car i have ever owned it was back at Topcats the next day, my inital ride home was scarry......new car lots of power etc made worse by the fact that the car was accelerating without me touching the accelerator!! some times you just don't want to be noticed when your at traffic lights and your trying to hold a car that wants to rev to 60000rpm and there's nothing you can do about it, except kill the enginerage Warren was very apologetic and paid for the car to be collected, the screw that the throttle arm rests on had wound itself undone!!
Now the car is sorted and running fine i hve been finding out for myself what all the fuss about Cerbs is and my feelings are best described with
WHAT THE F***********K!!yikes
I have owned some fast impreza's but this car is a completely different fish all together
It's got a standard back box with decats and the noise on full throttle is just phenomenol an explosion of sound and i just luurve the bangs on the over run

I thought 5000 rpm was alot then it pulled to 5500 then 6000 then kept pulling to 6500 then i just bottled it but i'm sure she was still pulling faster
What a car what a beauty!

Looking forward to going on some runs in the future and meeting some of you guys

I would also like to say that Warren at Topcats racing seems a real sound guy and would highly reccomend them, i will be getting them to look after the Cerb

Bye for now

Welcome to Cerbland and Manhood.smile

Take it easy for a while, we don't want to lose another cerb. This car is definitely unlike your average Scooby and needs a lot more respect. Hope you have not been peeling all the Max Power stickers off the Impreza and putting them on the Cerbhehe

Hi and welcome to the club, just be careful with the right boot for a while, these cars can bite and bite hard.

Welcome, I saw that car in the classifieds and thought it looked like a stonking buy (even with the history). I had even pushed it under the nose of a friend who is looking for one and he was very interested, looks like he missed out though, but then he is one hell of a faffer biggrin

Hope you enjoy it, and do take it easy thumbup

Welcome to the fun...

My top tip...

Don't let any water/moisture get anywhere near the engine bay.
