I've had two cerbs in the past and currently have griff. Truth is I miss them and seriously thinking about changing but I want the ultimate one (then I may keep it for good). You know .. a lightweight RR thats well sorted with all the right mods in a sexy colour combo. Anyone own or know of one?

Craig's 4.7 is a beautiful beastie. Also try getting in touch with PHer satman who has a very nicely kept 4.5 for sale smile

The "ultimate" Cerby is going to be different in all of our eyes.

Without a budget to go off, looking through the classifieds, my Ultimate car for power would be the Nitros Cerb.

My ultimate standard Cerb would be the 2003 RR.

The other thing is, the "right mods" will be different in everyone you meet smile

Mine is a very late lightweight RR. That looks standard but makes a true 450bhp. I'm not up to speed on all the cerby mods now available but thats the brief .. also one that stops well! I'm flexible on the colour but I do like Crystal Topaz with a two tone interior.

Actually I think it was someone else ... I had a factory 4.7 a few years back (one of two) but it was a silvery blue colour reg R200HOT.

450 in a Cerb ?

Brummie wedge has achieved it with an LS engine transplant, but that's not a LW, neither is the Nitros one.

Personally, I wouldn't get too hung up on the "LW" thing. I've got one, and it's over a 100kg heavier than my "non LW" smile

You don't want to buy your old cerbie off craig again then? seems a sensible choice to me .. your old car and you reunited, but with a lot of mods to it so it'll still feel like a new car to you. best of both worlds?

yes Craigs car used to be 'liftoffs' (alans) old 4.5 Cerb, AFIAK he got the engine bits via John Reid. Craig built most of it himself and got some work done by TVR Power. Austec reworked the heads and played with cams etc to get some power out of it as it wasn't making great numbers.
